It’s the time of year when decorations turn scary, when eating too much candy is acceptable and when you get to be someone else for a day….HALLOWEEN! Did you know that Halloween is the most commercially successful holiday next to Christmas? People around the world love Halloween and it shows with over $2 billion in candy sales each year. The money spent on costumes is more than three times that on average!
Instead of going out and buying a pre-made costume, why not get creative and put together your costume from items you already have or can buy inexpensively at Goodwill? Not only do you save money, you don’t have the same boring costume as someone else. Even if someone else is a cowboy at your party, chances are there are still many aspects of your costume that will be different.
Here are a few good ideas of things to buy to get started. You can just add accessories and make up to make it your own version.

oZombie Bride or prom queen
oBride of Frankenstein
oPrincess
•Overalls/Coveralls
oScarecrow
oFarmer
oPlumber
oBob the Builder
•Vintage Suit
oGangster
oScary Mortician
oGroom
Other costume ideas you may want to consider:
