From our Goodwill Bargainista
For a lot of us money is tight. That doesn’t stop the expense of the kids going back to school! Back to school shopping is one of the biggest consumer spending events. I recently read that parents are waiting until the last possible minute to shop in hopes of finding the best bargains. If you come to Goodwill there is no need to wait – the bargains are here everyday!
Our racks are filled with items that will have the kids heading back to school in style and won’t destroy your budget. You will be amazed at the brands that are donated. Even more amazing – the number of things you can find brand new or close to it! I imagine some mom cleaning out a closet full of things her child has outgrown but never even worn.
I was in one of our stores this morning and within 5 minutes had seen at least 5 different brands that will have the kids leaving happy – Hollister, Abercrombie, Gap, Diesel and even Ed Hardy! Don’t forget to look for back packs and handbags also! I snapped a picture of one of the display cases loaded with great purses!
You can call it being thrifty, call it being eco-friendly, call it bargain hunting, call it what you want, but you should give Goodwill shopping a try.
